Ancient Mariners Regatta

First held in Alameda, and organized by the Alameda, Mount Diablo Council and San Francisco Councils in 1952, the Ancient Mariner Regatta (AMR) has been guided by the ideals and traditions of Sea Scouting.

2004 William I. Koch Sea Scout Cup

In June American Scouting Digest headed up to Cape Cod to witness first-hand the 2004 Koch Cup regatta, Sea Scouting’s premier
international sailing competition for young sailors. The Koch Cup attracts Sea Scout teams from across the globe And this year’s race also served to the launch Sea Scouts partnership with Ducks Unlimited, a new cooperative effort under the umbrella of BSA’s Good Turn for America initiative.
